The old boys’ coffee at Global Living
Monday. I managed to fit in a coffee at Global Living and a long walk, the coffee steaming in the grey morning while people drifted slowly past outside.
The old boys’ coffee usually goes off the rails, and to say we solve the world’s problems every time would be a downright lie.
This time it was PK – our most politically correct person – who came out with a few phrases that neither Micke nor I understood.
It was mostly blubber-blubber coming out of his mouth; surely he wanted to get something across, just like a politician – preferably without revealing what.
But then again, if you listen to an experienced politician, no normal person understands a thing anyway.
So who knows, maybe PK is a new government minister.

Young, Inspiring and International: LOBA Emerging Talent
Furthermore, the German photographer Serghei Duve won the Newcomer Award 2025 with the photo series “Bright Memory”.
In the project he explores his family’s connection to Transnistria.

Monday meetup with Prisma
Prisma at Elbakajen
The afternoon was booked for the photo group Prisma, and this time we met up at Elbakajen.
Even though it’s holiday season, I think quite a few turned up.
In the evening there was a bit more walking, and all in all it came to about eight kilometres – which I’m very pleased with.
If I count today’s walk as well, I add almost another seven kilometres on top of that.
And even though I’ve walked and photographed down at Elbakajen for so many years, I still find new views to capture.
The sun blazed in backlight behind an old workboat, the steamer Elba lay still by the tree-lined shore, and on the old crane hung the hook, cracked by time.
That’s how it always is – the same quay, but always something new to see.
Monday meetup with Prisma
Hospital visit
Today it was a hospital visit instead: blood tests ahead of tomorrow’s teclastimab injection, plus a drip.
I was also at the infection clinic and inhaled medicine against pneumonia.
It took maybe about fifteen minutes, and the blood test took almost as long.
Tomorrow, on the other hand, it’ll probably be at least two hours.

Next Monday: Stora Sundby Castle
Next Monday we’re meeting at Stora Sundby Castle, the beautiful fairytale castle from the Middle Ages.
As early as 1848, Sweden’s most beautiful castle stood complete, boasting four great towers symbolising the seasons, twelve smaller towers for the months, 52 rooms for the weeks of the year and 365 windows for all the days of the calendar.
