The day started at the hospital

Today the day started with a hospital visit – time for the teclistamab injection and an IV drip.

There was also a bone-strengthening drip, and it took its fair share of time before I finally got to come out into the warmth.

But at least now it’s a month until the next round.

The test results that had come in also looked very good, so let’s hope the M-protein doesn’t show up when the next results arrive next week.

Fika at Global Living

Fika at Global Living

After that I headed over to the new spot by Blåsbo, where I now park the car.

The walk from there is a little shorter than from the place I used to park – and of course there’s not quite as much photography along the way down either.

Once at Global Living, the guys were already sitting there, and as usual there was a heap of problems that sorted themselves out.

Sitting outside like this is rather pleasant and cooling; the sun, you see, doesn’t reach the patio at this time of day.

Preparations for the City Festival

On the way home I then took a little detour to catch some of the preparations for the City Festival, which kicks off tomorrow and runs for three days.

There’s a lot going on in Västerås right now, by the way.

On 2–4 July 2026 the town will smell of old car exhaust again – that’s when the raggare, Sweden’s classic-car enthusiasts, invade town, and as usual it gets a bit tricky to get around by car on certain streets.

Football at Hubbovallen

In the evening, football was on the schedule, down at Hubbovallen.

Our grandchild was going to play a match against the parents, and we were along as babysitters.

I actually got a little worried that they’d tell us we had to take the field as well.

Instead I walked around and shot a few photos with the Leica – and that’s when it struck me that I probably should have brought the Canon instead.

After all, it’s a fair bit easier to shoot sports with the Canon gear than with the Leica.
