The day didn’t start downtown

The day actually didn’t start down in the centre.

It was up early instead, to head over to the health centre up by Oxbacken centrum.

And there I got the verdict: eating right isn’t so damn easy.

Quit all the good stuff and eat by the plate model, like she said.

😂 But it didn’t stop at the food — there was to be a bit more upper-body training too.

Good grief, I’ll wreck my body on a single sit-up.

Just being out walking wasn’t enough, she reckoned.

I tried to explain that my body isn’t the least bit keen on that kind of training, but it didn’t land.

Hmm, then you’ll just have to start getting it used to it.🙈

Down to the festival

Afterwards I drove down and parked the car at Blåsbo, and from there it was a walk down to the centre.

At this hour the old boys definitely hadn’t turned up at Global Living yet, so I took a stroll round all the vendors first.

And there was a crazy amount of it — the festival has spread out properly this year.

At the same time, I already know I won’t be heading down any evening.

It gets crowded, and a hell of a racket all over town.

Coffee and the old boys

When I got back to the café there was still no one there.

So it had to be a cup of coffee and waiting for the old boys.

And as usual, once they did show up, it was Enrico who did the talking.🙂

The Leica keeps messing about

The Leica keeps messing about

Then there was this business with the Leica again.

The profiles keep messing about, and honestly it’s tiresome having to check which profile is active before every single shot.

Today the problem cropped up far too many times again.

Every single day this has to carry on, and probably will right up until Leica comes out with a firmware fix.

As the icing on the cake, a freeze showed up today too — and then you’re forced to shut the whole camera down to get out of the lock-up.

The plan is to try filming with the phone when the faults appear.

The only problem is there’s no pattern to them — they come completely at random.

And if I try to recreate the fault on purpose, everything works just fine.

Can’t make head nor tail of it.

Yesterday I did at least talk to Gunnars Foto, who in turn would check with Leica about whether I could get a loaner camera while mine is in for diagnostics.

But that’ll have to wait until after the holidays.

I’ve got no desire whatsoever to be without it this summer.
