Under Vallby Bridge

Yesterday gave a few pictures.

I try to get out every day, and yesterday I started under Vallby Bridge – all to get my steps going.

But I’m getting so damn tired.

Every month I get my injection, it feels as if I get a little more tired, and I can only hope it’s my imagination.

Perhaps it is exactly the moments of rest after the walks that my body needs.

At the same time, the evening is there waiting, and if I have rested during the day, sleep can have a hard time finding me.

Along the Svartån river an old stone staircase appeared, covered in leaves and surrounded by forest, as if it led somewhere you weren’t quite sure you wanted to go.

A little further on, a lone bicycle stood leaning against a graffiti-covered signpost.

No owner in sight.

Just the bicycle, the river and the silence.

Coffee, a park and a car far too far away

After that it was a coffee with a refill at Global Living, and then down towards Vasaparken before I headed for the car, which stood far away under the bridge.

And right there, when you are at your very furthest away, you wonder how you could have parked the car so da…

far away.

The Monday meeting I skipped

Bildgruppen Prisma’s Monday meeting had to wait this time.

I’m simply not that interested in exhibiting pictures.

Besides, it is rather sleepy to listen and go through every single picture, especially when some bring the maximum number.

That’s when my coffee gut ties itself in a knot – you know this is going to take time.

Ängsö – where the silence crackles

Today, Tuesday, I went to Ängsö instead.

I brought drinks, fruit and nuts, and then I sat there by the boat jetty and let the sun do its thing.

Autumn days like this are so wonderful.

Just sitting down and leaning against a fence, with the water so still that the trees stand on their heads in it.

The silence becomes the kind that crackles in your ears – until a bird decides to say something.

The avenue towards the gate was full of yellow leaves, and the shadows of the old lime trees drew lines across the path.

Through the church’s wrought-iron gate, with its INRI and its crown, the castle tower could be seen in the background.

Along the path through the deciduous forest it was as if autumn couldn’t decide on a single colour, so it took them all.

And close, really close, a withered leaf hung in the backlight, held by a few thin spider threads.

There is something in that.

That the most fragile is sometimes what holds things together.

Hubbo Photo gets a rest

Hubbo Photo gets a rest

With Hubbo Foto / Hubbo Photo I have mostly walked around taking pictures, while the coding got a rest today.

The test users, on the other hand, are conspicuous by their absence – no one has anything that needs changing.

Surely it can’t be that it’s already perfect?

A bridge between LightCraft and PhotoCraft

A bridge between LightCraft and PhotoCraft

Next up is LightCraft and PhotoCraft, where I have made a plugin that works as a bridge between the two programs.

To give an example: in Lightroom you can select a number of pictures you want to edit, say 35 of them, right-click on them and have them opened in Photoshop, if you have chosen it as your editor.

With LightCraft and PhotoCraft that didn’t work, so I had to build the plugin myself.

Now I can also, when I have a lot of pictures open in PhotoCraft, send them all back to the catalogue they came from.

I also sent an Issue to the company about the problem.

Already the next day they had fixed the first bug – now that’s what you call fast work.

Now I can only hope they take on the next Issue I sent as well, the one about sending from PhotoCraft.

Finally

Finally

You don’t have to go far to find something.

Sometimes it’s enough to sit down, lean back and let the day come to you.
